Nike World Cup
MADType worked with Nike designers to create this custom typeface for use on World Cup 2006 jerseys and related products.

Specifically, MADType completely re-drew and tightened up an existing Nike concept font to our exacting typographic standards. Space savings, legibility, and a unique style were all important considerations in the design.
 
MADType also tightened up the country based player numbers for the World Cup jerseys and converted them into fonts for easy use.
